Welcome

Media representatives and members of the press are very welcome to attend both regattas both on and off the water.  There will be a media room set up on site at Royal Queensland Yacht Squadron and an official media boat following the racing on Moreton Bay every race day ( see below for dates).  Please contact us if you would like to join the regatta community to cover the racing.  Official press releases and images will also be posted to this page.

Official Media Boat

There will be a official media boat attending all race days for the Queensland State Championship and the 2018 Etchells World Championships. The racing is scheduled to start at 12 noon out on Moreton Bay and we anticipate the Official Media Boat will leave RQYS at approximately 11 am and return to RQYS by 5 pm latest.  These times are for indication only at this stage as weather conditions on Moreton Bay can alter times.

Queensland State Championship Race Dates:

Sunday October 14, Monday October 15 and Tuesday October 16

2018 Etchells Worlds Championships Race Dates:

Practice Race is on Sunday October 21

Official Racing starts on Monday October 22 – Saturday October 29 inclusive.
